Privacy policy

What RadicalRack collects when you use this website, why we collect it and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

RadicalRack is a software development company based in Ahmedabad, India. This policy explains how we handle personal information on radicalrack.com (the “website”). “We”, “us” and “our” mean RadicalRack.

Work we carry out for clients is covered by the agreement for that project, not by this policy.

2. Information we collect

Information you give us:

  • Enquiries. When you submit the enquiry form, we receive your name, email address, the topic you chose, your preferred start date and your message. Phone number, company and indicative budget are optional.
  • Job applications. If you apply for a role by email we receive your CV and anything else you choose to include.
  • Messages and calls. If you email or call us we receive what you tell us and your contact details.

Information collected automatically:

  • Technical data. When your browser loads a page, our hosting provider receives your IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This information is needed to deliver the website and keep it secure.
  • Fonts. Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts and Fontshare. Your browser connects to those services directly, so they receive your IP address.

We do not use analytics or advertising trackers, and the website does not set cookies.

3. How we use information

  • To reply to your enquiry and prepare for a conversation about your project.
  • To consider job applications.
  • To run the website, keep it secure and protect the enquiry form from spam and misuse.
  • To meet our legal obligations.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising. We will not add you to a mailing list unless you ask us to.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent (where you choose to contact us), our legitimate interest in answering enquiries and running the website, and our legal obligations.

4. Who we share it with

We share personal information only where it is needed:

  • Service providers that host the website and deliver our email, currently Microsoft Azure and our email provider. They process information on our behalf.
  • Professional advisers, courts, regulators or law-enforcement bodies, where the law requires it or to protect our legal rights.
  • A successor business, if RadicalRack is reorganised or sold. The information would stay protected by this policy.

5. International transfers

We are based in India, and our service providers may process information in other countries. When you contact us from outside India, your information is transferred to India and to the countries where those providers operate. We take the steps required by applicable law to keep it protected.

6. How long we keep it

The website itself does not store your enquiry: it is delivered to our mailbox as an email. We keep enquiries, applications and correspondence only for as long as we need them for the purpose for which you provided them, or for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your information sooner.

7. Security

The website is served over an encrypted connection, and access to enquiries is limited to the people who need it to respond. No method of sending or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Please do not send confidential or sensitive information through the enquiry form. If your project needs it, we can agree to a non-disclosure agreement first.

8. Your choices and rights

You can ask us to:

  • tell you what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy;
  • correct information that is wrong or out of date;
  • delete your information or stop using it;
  • accept that you withdraw a consent you gave earlier.

Email us at the address below and we will respond within the time the law allows. Depending on where you live, you may have further rights under laws such as India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act or the GDPR, including the right to complain to your data protection authority.

9. Children

The website is for businesses and professionals. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the website or the law changes. The date at the top of the page shows when it was last updated.
